I am a retired high school English teacher and until recently served as a supervisor of student teachers at Youngstown State University. I live in Niles, Ohio, which is in the northeast corner of the state. My wife of 48 years, Monnie, also has a photo gallery on zenfolio which I encourage you to visit. We have two children, four grandchildren, and at least a dozen cameras between us.
My primary camera is a Canon Digital Rebel XSi although I carry a Canon Powershot G12 and a Canon PowerShot SX120 as backups. For a number of years, my hobby has been photographing lighthouses, and as of August 1, 2009, I've photographed 182 lights, at least one on each of the Great Lakes plus numerous Atlantic coast lights from Maine to North Carolina.
So many lighthouses; so little time!!!
