I am a retired high school English teacher and currently serve as a supervisor of student teachers at Youngstown State University. I live in Niles, Ohio, which is in the northeast corner of the state. My wife of 47 years, Monnie, also has a photo gallery on zenfolio which I encourage you to visit. We have two children, four grandchildren, and at least a dozen cameras between us.
My primary camera is a Canon Digital Rebel XTi although I carry a Casio Ex-Z600 and a Canon PowerShot G10 as backups. For a number of years, my hobby has been photographing lighthouses, and as of August 1, 2009, I've photographed 171 lights, at least one on each of the Great Lakes plus numerous Atlantic coast lights from Maine to North Carolina.
So many lighthouses; so little time!!!
