Photos in this gallery were taken on our June 2012 trip to "Wild and Wonderful" West Virginia. We arrived on Sunday, June 24th, and were met by our friend, Amanda Haddox, who took us on a guided tour of the back roads to see locations we would not have seen otherwise. On Monday, we were met by our new friends, Bill and Carolyn Hilborn, who also took us a number places we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Our thanks and appreciation to all three. Included in our stops are: the New River Gorge; the Hawks Nest State Park lodge and overlook; the Tree Tops Canopy Tour (a part of the new "Adventures On The Gorge" complex; Plum Orchard Lake; and, of course, the world famous Mystery Hole. What a fabulous trip...we hope to return to that beautiful area soon.
