The Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens is located in Akron, Ohio. It was built between 1912 and 1915 for F. A. Seiberling, the founder of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Built in the Tudor Revival style, it is the 12th largest house in the United States.

In 1957, the family donated the property to a non-profit organization for its preservation and now the historic house, museum and country estate is open to the public.

FYI: On our visit, Monnie and I were accompanied by our daughter-in-law, Lilla, and her brother, Iain.
